I will forever recommend Dr. Weindling and be grateful for him. Almost 19 years ago my world turned upside down when I learned at 23 weeks that my unborn baby would be born with a congenital heart problem/ congenital heart block. He was so supportive and explained everything so we would understand what our future holds. I saw him twice a week for until I was 34 weeks. I had to be transferred out of state to deliver but as soon as we were home he welcomed us back and took care of her til he moved to Kansas. My heart was shattered and scared when I learned he moved as I knew nothing but his compassion and understanding of my daughters needs. I want him to know we will be forever thankful for him. I truly believe Dr.Weindling is a huge reason why my daughter just celebrated her 18th birthday this past Valentines. She is now followed by another awesome Doctor from Children's Hospital in Boston. I miss you at Dartmouth but I am glad you continue to help parents with the unknown and scary times and also celebrate the milestones ! Thank you again! You will never be forgotten :)

Dr. Weindling was truly a gift to our family. As a young couple expecting our first child, we were told our daughter would likely have a handful of complications as a result of a chromosomal abnormality. Beginning at 19 weeks gestation, Dr. Weindling kept a close eye on our precious baby and walked us through the world of congenital heart defects. From her birth in August of 2019 followed by our NICU stay and through her open heart surgery, he was always providing exceptional care. He made sure we went to the best of the best for open heart surgery and would not accept less than perfection for her. Today, she is doing beautifully and is full of life with minimal cardiac follow ups. We are so grateful for Dr. Weindling and miss him being in Kansas City.
