Sarah completed her undergraduate education in Psychology at University of Rochester in Rochester, NY and her graduate education in Clinical Psychology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She completed her residency and fellowship at University of Washington, and is now an Acting Assistant Professor at University of Washington and Clinical Psychologist in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Seattle Children's Hospital.

My research broadly aims to better understand the etiology of depression and associated risk behaviors such as substance use and suicide across development, and translate findings to inform prevention adn intervention strategies for youth and families. Additionally, my work focuses on partnering with families and communities to improve effectiveness, access, and use of effective mental health services within primary care and other widely accessed community based settings.
