Research Description

My research broadly aims to better understand the etiology of depression and risk behaviors such as substance use and suicide across development, and translate findings to inform prevention and intervention strategies for youth and families. Additionally, my work focuses on partnering with families and communities to improve effectiveness, access, and use of effective mental health services for depression and suicide care within primary care and other widely accessed community based settings.
