Biography

Romario Solano is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience supporting youth and families from diverse communities across both mental health and integrated primary care settings.

At OBCC, Romario conducts comprehensive assessments, offers evidence-based therapy and trauma informed interventions, and provides psychoeducation on a range of behavioral health related topics. His work emphasizes the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and social wellbeing as it relates to children and adolescent development within family systems.

Romario has special interest in child behavior, resilience building, and development and enjoys supporting families and caregivers through coaching and interaction training. He values partnering with families to strengthen relationships, foster protective factors and ultimately increase positive outcomes for children.

He is committed to delivering compassionate and responsive care and easing access of mental health services to underserved communities and marginalized folks. Romario also provides clinical supervision to psychology graduate students.
