  • Biography

    I practice at Seattle Childrens Hospital as a staff anesthesiologist and am an attending on the inpatient acute and chronic pain management services. My clinical interests are in regional anesthesia, non-cardiac surgery for patients with congenital heart disease, multimodal pain therapy, and remote anesthesia practice. Academically, my research interests are in quantification of disease burden due to congenital and neonatal diseases, maternal conditions, hemoglobinopathies and nutritional deficiencies such as anemia. I am also studying the potential role of expanded surgical/ anesthesia services in addressing unmet international need and working with a collaborative group to quantify the burden of adverse events related to medical care throughout the world.
