  • Biography

    Dr. Jungbluth received his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver and completed his residency and postdoctoral fellowships at Seattle Children's and the University of Washington. He worked for several years as an implementation science researcher at the University of Washington before returning to the Partnership Access Line (PAL) in 2016 to co-found the FAST program.

    Nat Jungbluth, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and Co-Director of the First Approach Skills Training (FAST) program, which has supported thousands of clinicians worldwide in learning to deliver evidence-based treatment strategies to kids, teens and families. Nat loves to partner with clinicians, leaders and organizations across Washington to develop and improve FAST resources and their reach. Nat also helps lead the CBT+ Statewide Training Initiative since 2011 and has collaborated on NIH-funded, large-scale child trauma treatment implementation projects domestically and internationally. He continues to collaborate on research and service projects through the University of Washington.

    Clinical Interests

    Nat's clinical interests include treatment of child and teen anxiety, OCD, trauma-impact, depression, and disruptive behavior. 

    Research Description

    Nat's current research is focused on the development and testing of brief, evidence-based interventions tailored to integrated care settings, such as pediatric primary care and schools. He also seeks to advance treatment implementation science with a focus on optimizing training, consultation, and supervision methods as well as innovations in intervention design.
