  • Biography

    Natalie Pageler, MD, MEd, is senior vice president and chief information officer at Seattle Children’s, where she leads the organization’s digital strategy and information technology operations. A board-certified pediatrician, pediatric intensivist, and clinical informaticist, she brings more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of clinical care, academic medicine and healthcare technology.

    Prior to joining Seattle Children’s, Dr. Pageler held multiple leadership roles at Stanford Medicine and Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. She served for a decade as a senior clinical informatics executive and later as the inaugural chief of the Division of Clinical Informatics. She also served as associate dean for maternal and child health (Clinical Informatics) and clinical professor of pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine. She helped lead the implementation and optimization of Stanford Children’s electronic health record and the development of its digital health and translational data science programs. She also co-founded the Stanford Clinical Informatics Fellowship, one of the nation’s first ACGME-accredited clinical informatics fellowship programs.

    Dr. Pageler earned her medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, a Master of Education in Medical Education from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Science in engineering physics from the University of Arizona.
