    Julie Cheng, MD, MAE, is an acting clinical instructor and pediatric urology fellow at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington Department of Urology. Dr. Cheng taught middle school math and science through Teach for America and then received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery internship and urology residency at Loma Linda University. Her research interests are related to how health literacy and patient education affect urologic outcomes and creating inclusive resources for patients and their families. Dr. Cheng enjoys all things related to food and is on the hunt for the best chocolate chip cookie around. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
