"I love working in pediatrics because I feel like I really have a whole family as my patient."
-
I see patients after they've graduated from their acute transplant phase, which is usually three months after transplant. I will then follow them until they become an adult, seeing them annually until they're 18 or 21, so I get to know my patients very well. I’m able to refine their care to really suit each individual patient and family as much as possible.
