Our son was diagnosed with a cleft lip and palate at his 20 week ultrasound anatomy scan. We felt lost and helpless. Soon thereafter we were referred to Seattle Children's, which appointed us a cleft team to oversee our son's care. We were finally getting the guidance and answers to help sooth our concerns until he was born. After birth we were immediately seen by Dr. Blessing who was so informative, patient, and kind. We received a NAM device from Dr. Kapadia that brought his lip and gum line closer together in preparation for surgery. An educational experience. Would have no other doctor do this. He was so gentle and gracious with our sweet baby. Dr. Tse did an amazing job with both surgeries. Minimal scarring and life changing. His skill speaks for itself, but he was also gifted with amazing bedside manner and provided help post operation without hesitation. Glad to have Seattle Children's for our son's treatment.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kapadia. He is kind, caring, knowlegable, patient, and a great listener. He has been treating my infant son with bilateral cleft lip and palate and has been amazing through what could be a very stressful time. Even when I am very frustrated, he always carefully listens and offers help in such a calm manner that we are all calmed. I have felt very confident in his work with my son and would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. K is awesome! He is helping my little boy, who's just barely two months old, with a NAM appliance for his bi-lateral cleft lip and palate. I am so very glad that he is working with my son on this difficult process and am appreciative how kind and gentle he is with him. Dr. K is very personable, answers all questions thoroughly and is approachable. We are having a very smooth and easy experience during this tricky pre-surgery time. I am very appreciative of this experience being a good one for my baby. It makes it less stressful on all of us.

We saw Dr Kapadia this past summer with our 6 yr old daughter. He was very kind and explained everything in a very straight forward manner. We are more than happy to be working with him and his team in regards to the long term treatment and repair of our daughter's teeth and gum line issues due to her cleft palate.
