Biography
Gwen is a board certified PA. She was born and raised in northwest Florida and has worked in healthcare for over two decades, in a variety of settings. She began her medical career working as a Radiologic and Nuclear Medicine technologist. It’s from working with oncology patients in particular during those years that she realized her passion for learning medicine and the desire to care for patients as a clinician.
As a non traditional student, Gwen became a first-generation college graduate, earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a graduate degree through the MEDEX PA program at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
As a clinician, her experience includes family medicine and addiction medicine. Gwen's practice is evidence based with an emphasis on shared decision making. She is an empathetic clinician who is passionate about expanding access to culturally competent and high quality healthcare for all.
Outside of work Gwen enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
