Dr. Alvarez received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University in Oregon. She then completed her clinical residency in pediatric neuropsychology and pediatric/rehabilitation psychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and her clinical fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta/Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Alvarez enjoys providing psychological and neuropsychological care to children with a variety of medical conditions, and has participated in research investigating neurocognitive outcomes in children who have experienced neurological or traumatic brain injuries. Dr. Alvarez is currently a neuropsychologist in the Department of Rehabilitation at Seattle Children's Hospital. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and her pets.
