We began our journey at Seattle Children's with Dr. Yung. She is the main reason my daughter is doing so well. She left no stone unturned when it came to treating my daughters pulmonary hypertension. Even though her specialty is the heart she will frequently refer us to other doctors as she thinks of our daughters overall health. Her team is amazing. We feel extremely supported by them. She is caring, she listens and we have never felt rushed.
-
Dr. Yung has been my daughter's cardiologist since 2004. Dr. Yung works closely with my daughter's pediatrician to provide the best medical care possible. She has always listened to and considered my input with regards to care options and that has always meant the most to me. She is dedicated to the ever evolving Cardiac field and most dedicated to the individual needs of patients and their families.
-
Dr. Yung is excellent. She has been following my child for 5 years and is aways thorough, kind, and consistent. What a blessing to have at Children's!

Cardiopulmonary exercise testing - Research Description
-
My primary research interest is in pulmonary hypertension. Our center is a member of national and international registries that seek to understand more about pediatric pulmonary hypertension. We participate in industry-sponsored clinical trials of new pulmonary hypertension medications. I have an investigator-initiated study looking at the use of inhaled iloprost in children in the critical care units.
I also collaborate with colleagues in interventional cardiology, nephrology and general pediatrics who are interested in exercise related studies. - Research Focus Area
