Research Description

My research focuses on furthering the understanding of early infant growth and optimizing prevention and treatment strategies for populations at risk of poor growth. Through clinical and epidemiologic studies in low- and middle-income settings, I aim to elucidate the role of maternal health and nutrition on infant growth, development, the metabolome, and the microbiome in order to develop novel directed interventions.
