I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Amlie-Lefond. She set us on the path to testing and finally getting my son diagnosed with the disease that had caused a gaggle of mysterious symptoms for 9 years. She is very thorough and intelligent while also approachable and friendly. We've seen many, many doctors and specialists over the years and she is one of the very best. You'd be hard pressed to find a doctor as devoted to her patient's health as she is.

Dr. Lefond is truly an amazing Neurologist. My daughter has a rare disorder and had some complicated issues. Dr. Lefond listened to my concerns, and has helped my daughter make AMAZING progress. Dr. Lefond is very knowledgeable, professional, intelligent and truly amazing. I would recommend any parent who is seeking a great Neurologist to see her. She listens to your concerns, she is knowledgeable, intelligent, and just over all kind hearted. I highly recommend her and I am just so grateful for her and all she has done for my daughter.

Dr Lefond took care of my son Andrew at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Andrew had a brain pseudoaneurym rupture and suffered 3 strokes at 5 weeks of age. We traveled from Green Bay to see her and she was a great neurologist. (We have since moved to Michigan but continue care in Milwaukee.) We were sad to see her leave. Andrew is now 5 years old and has done remarkable for all he went thru- she would also be amazed. I agree with another parent, Seattle is very lucky to have her. Thank you Dr. Lefond for being so wonderful.

Dr. Le-Fond has been working with us over the past year regarding our son, who had a stroke at just over one years of age. I can't say enough positive things about her working demeanor and continued care of our son. I think it is not only her extensive knowledge of the subject matter, but also her approach to care that make her such a wonderful doctor. She carefully explains issues and is not afraid to consult with other specialists when necessary. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone facing these issues.

Dr Lefond was beyond amazing!!! My son, Leroy, had a stroke while still in utero and was having seizures that lasted 12-15 minutes long right after birth. He was shipped from our hosp in Sheboygan to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee and got the amazing fortune to have Dr Lefond as his doctor! She was so attentive to him and got him on the right medications. Leroy gained weight so fast that he outgrew his medication faster than expected, so he ended up having a couple extra trips to Milwaukee to see her, but each time she was such a pleasure to work with! She never got impatient with us, she always answered all of our questions, and she ALWAYS made sure Leroy was on the proper dosage of the right medications. For each check-up trip that we had to make to see Dr Lefond, even if she was over-booked by accident (which only happened once) she still made certain she herself came to see Leroy and see how he was doing...and she ALWAYS came into the room with a smile on her face! I don't think anyone could ask for a better neurologist for their child! My only disappointment is that she had to leave Wisconsin and we no longer have her for ourselves! ;) I recommend that anyone needing a child neurologist go to her, because there truly is no better than her! We miss her greatly here in Wisconsin, and I hope Seattle's Children's Hospital knows how blessed they are to have her!

Our daughter had just turned 3 when she suffered her stroke and so began our journey that led us to meeting with Dr. Lefond. We spent a week in the hospital at Seattle Children's, and although she had many patients, we truly felt like our little girl was Dr. Lefonds only patient. We could tell it was a personal mission for her to find a cause to our daughters stroke. She was very attentive to our questions and was very diligent in finding answers. We do not live close to Seattle and have had to travel there many times; she has really helped in coordinating our appointments and making our stressful visits quite pleasant. We have been seeing her for almost a year now and she has gone so far beyond our expectations as a healthcare professional. She truly cares about Colbies health and well-being. It will be a bittersweet day when we no longer need her expertise.

Dr. Lefond was absolutely delightful to work with at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. She is wonderful with children and she worked hard with our family to get answers regarding my son Levi having a stroke being only 10 years old. He was totally health and it turned our lives upside for a short while. Dr. Lefond has an incredible background in pediatric strokes. She did a very good job in making sure not only did we as Levi's parents understand his condition but that he also understood what was going on wig his body. We will dearly miss working with Dr. Lefond and her team. Wishing you all the best in life and your career <3 Sincerely, Cecilia and Family
