After two years of frustration and no real answers for our 4 year old son, we found someone to listen. That someone was indeed Dr. Karr! She spent a great deal of time listening to his symptoms after our family experienced an "inhalation exposure" in the state of Florida. Our doctors here in Bellingham did not "believe" our son's health problems could be caused by this incident and did not provide proper medical care. With Dr. Karr's help, we might finally be on track to getting our son well. He was two years old when this happened and has not been the same since - he has been unable to swallow without pain since December 2009 and suffers from very poor health. Dr. Karr is compassionate, intelligent and resourceful; she listens exceptionally well and my husband and I were very impressed with her no nonsense attitude. We highly recommend her!
