Academic Title: Associate Professor

"I was drawn to child and adolescent psychiatry because I love working with children, solving problems and helping families provide excellent care for their young or adolescent children with mental-health symptoms. Im especially gratified when an intervention I recommend results in significant improvement in symptoms which happens often! For example, at times my diagnostic assessment has led to the realization that a child displaying oppositional behavior does so because of anxiety symptoms. When this happens, it helps families change their view of their child in a positive way, and we can initiate treatment directed at the root of the childs problems."

  • Patient Testimonials

    • Jennifer Seattle WA 06.02.22

Carol Rockhill is a gift. Brilliant, kind, patient and willing to help parents understand how their child’s issue is not the fault of any one person or thing. She has treated two of my three sons. The oldest, Samuel, now in university, is also a Children’s Patient Ambassador and strong advocate for mental health awareness. Sam’s youngest brother is still struggling but is improving. Dr. Rockhill is extraordinary in every way; she is most unusual, however, in being willing to try medication that has worked in siblings or parents. Our family appreciates her in every possible way.
