Arun Gurunathan, MD, completed his medical training at Rutgers University. He then went to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for his pediatric residency; he met his wife (a Pediatric Hospitalist at Seattle Children's Hospital) there. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. He then became an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Seattle Children's Hospital in 2019. His interests outside of work include hiking, spending time with family, and listening to all sorts of podcasts.
