Join the Stanley Stamm Camp Guild
The Stanley Stamm Camp Guild is a group of people who love camp. Many guild members are former campers, volunteers or friends and family of people who have benefited from the Stamm Camp experience. Membership is open to all.
Interested in being part of our guild? Fill out the guild placement form and be sure to indicate your interest in Stamm Camp. For more information about the guild and its events, please email Jason Lane.
About Our Camp
Each August, Seattle Children’s Stanley Stamm Summer Camp gives nearly 100 children with chronic medical conditions the chance to go fishing, ride horses and take part in other typical summer camp activities at a week-long sleepover camp near Mt. Rainier.
Our camp, founded by Seattle Children's heart specialist Dr. Stanley Stamm, includes a team of both medical and non-medical volunteers from the community and a fully equipped infirmary so that children who are unable to attend other camps due to unique and often complex medical needs can join in the fun.
Stamm Camp is subsidized by our generous donors so families don’t have to pay a fee.
Seattle Children’s Stanley Stamm Summer Camp welcomes campers between the ages of 6 and 14 who have been patients at Seattle Children’s Hospital as an inpatient or outpatient.
Camper applications will be distributed electronically by the end of March. The application process has been condensed for 2021 to accommodate our virtual/hybrid camp program.
Please email Ursala Schwenn, Stamm Camp clinical coordinator, for more information or a camper application.
Volunteers help provide a fun and safe environment for children participating at Seattle Children’s Stanley Stamm Summer Camp. We would not be able to offer this incredible experience to our campers without dedicated medical and non-medical volunteers.
Volunteer applications will be distributed electronically by the end of March. The application process has been condensed for 2021 to accommodate our virtual/hybrid camp program.
Volunteer positions are limited and you must be 18 years or older.
For more information, please email Jason Lane.
Stamm Camp in the News
Since our founding, we have relied on philanthropy. In honor of the camp’s 50th anniversary in 2016, the community that loves Dr. Stanley Stamm and his camp came together to raise $1 million to keep the camp going for another 50 years.
