  • Biography

    Dr. Chrisman is a pediatrician and an Adolescent Medicine specialist.

    Her mission is to improve the health and well-being of adolescents, with a particular interest in the relationship between emotional and physical health. She has worked as a physician scientist for 10 years, including serving as the University of Washington site PI for a multi-site study of concussion co-sponsored by the NCAA and the Department of Defense since 2014. She also co-leads a Pac-12 study designed to shift the culture of sport to increase concussion reporting, and is developing a novel treatment for concussion using an innovative rehabilitative approach. She is passionate about youth wellness, and partnering to improve youth health using physical activity, sleep and social support.
