Managing Your Child’s Chronic Pain
Managing Your Child’s Chronic Pain (Oxford University Press, 2015) is the first book for parents of children with chronic pain providing instructions on how to use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for pain management. It uses real-life stories, quotes and vignettes of children with chronic pain and their families. It allows parents of children with chronic pain to learn many of the same strategies and approaches that are taught by psychologists who work in specialized pediatric pain clinics.
