Seattle Children’s Family Advisory Council invites patients and families to nominate a staff member, team or department that demonstrates the following qualities of family-centered care:

• Listens and values your opinion
• Shares information clearly
• Supports your family
• Offers choices
• Respects you
• Explains so you understand
• Partners with you
• Is flexible in their approach to issues
