Seattle Children’s QI Scholars Program – Application Extended to July 31
The Quality Improvement (QI) Scholars Program is a year-long training program designed to support physicians and quality leaders seeking advanced training in QI methods and is now open to leaders outside of UW/Seattle Children’s. Applications are now due July 31 and there are two tiers available to external applicants:
- Tier 1: Participants attend monthly, half-day QI research and leadership didactic sessions via Zoom. The sessions are led by national experts in the field of QI science. Access to recorded didactic sessions plus course readings and materials available to enrolled participants via the course website. Tuition: $2,000.
- Tier 2: Sessions held at Seattle Children’s. Scholars are exposed to QI research methods and leadership skills during 12 monthly seminars. The sessions are led by national experts in QI science. The morning seminars are a blend of didactics, small group exercises and practical hands-on applications. Tuition: $5,000.

Upcoming CME Event: Practical Pediatrics: Improving Pediatric Practice
Seattle Children’s is hosting an exciting CME on Improving Pediatric Practice, designed to address gaps in the primary care of children. This event will take place on Saturday, October 25, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sand Point Learning Center, located at 5801 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105.
The event is open to pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, naturopaths, physician assistants, and allied health professionals. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experts through lectures and interactive workshops focused on sharing best practices aimed at improving pediatric care.
