December New Resource Roundup
December 3, 2025
Updated Rheumatology Algorithms
We have updated our algorithms for Antinuclear Antibodies (ANA), Growing Pains, Henoch–Schönlein Purpura (HSP) and Benign Joint Hypermobility to align with the upcoming Rheumatology reverse eConsult pilot.
Updated Regional Clinic and Outreach Flyers
Updated flyers with specialty referral information, provider listings and deployment schedules are available for Alaska, the North Clinic in Everett, the Tri-Cities and Wenatchee clinics and the outreach clinic at Yakima Children's Village.
Hepatology eConsult Updates
As part of our commitment to improving clinical care resources, Hepatology eConsults are no longer displayed under Gastroenterology and are now displayed under Hepatology. Additionally, the order name for “Liver Enzyme Abnormalities/Hyperbilirubinemia” has changed to “Abnormal Liver Biochemistry.” These changes will not affect the process of submitting eConsults to GI or Hepatology. Separating these two specialties into individual eConsult options allows providers to connect directly to the service and support they need. View the updated eConsult Conditions List for the full list of eConsult orders available.
Richmond Pediatrics After-Hours Now Open
Richmond Pediatrics has opened a new After-Hours Clinic to expand access to care for children, teens and young adults up to their 21st birthday. The clinic treats minor illnesses and injuries that do not require emergency department services. Appointments can be scheduled online for same-day or next-day visits. Walk-in appointments are not available. Please note that the clinic does not provide X-rays and cannot treat broken bones or mental and behavioral health concerns.
The clinic is open to all pediatric patients in the community, not just current Richmond Pediatrics families. Patients seen at the clinic will be encouraged to complete their follow-up care with their primary care provider.
- Location: Richmond Pediatrics, 23511 56th Ave W., Suite 105, Mountlake Terrace, WA
- Hours: Monday through Friday: 1 to 9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas; open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on most other holidays.

Resources on Upcoming Federal Changes, Immigrant Eligibility and SNAP Updates
Our commitment to supporting patients and families remains our top priority, especially as we navigate upcoming changes to access and eligibility requirements for food assistance. Below are some helpful resources shared by Northwest Justice Project attorneys regarding upcoming federal changes and immigrant eligibility for food assistance.
- The Federal Health Care Changes Hub provides an overview of major federal policy shifts impacting health care access and affordability, including changes specific to immigrants in Washington.
- The Navigating Health Justice: Tools for Social Workers and Advocates Training focuses on federal policies that will reshape the health care and food assistance landscape in the coming years and is designed specifically for Social Workers and case managers.
- The New Law Limits Health Care & Food Aid for Immigrants handout breaks down which federal programs are affected, when changes take effect and who will remain eligible under the new rules.
If you are working with a family who is visiting a food bank for the first time, Hunger Free Washington has a helpful list of things to know before visiting.
