Scheduling Improvements for Psychiatric Urgent Care Virtual Visits

In response to feedback from community providers and families, Seattle Children’s is excited to announce new scheduled virtual visits in Psychiatric Urgent Care. Previously, patients opting for virtual visits only had the option of joining a virtual line to see the first available provider. While that option remains available, families now have the option to schedule a same-day virtual visit. Same day scheduling remains available for in-person visits.

Seattle Children’s Psychiatric Urgent Care is designed for Washington youth who are experiencing a mental health crisis who need urgent (same day) intervention but do not need the services of an emergency department. To learn more, visit the clinic’s website.
