Faster Lab Results at Seattle Children’s North Clinic in Everett

September 4, 2025

The laboratory at Seattle Children’s North Clinic in Everett is now able to analyze 30 additional chemistry tests that previously required send-out to the hospital campus in Seattle. This expansion significantly improves wait times for these results and enhances clinic services available for community providers and patients.

Previously, these lab results would take 2 to 6 hours. Now, results will be available within 60 minutes, including neonatal bilirubin, helping care teams expedite treatment plans.

To align with laboratory services across care sites, the assay methodology is the same as Seattle Children’s Hospital, Seattle Children’s Bellevue Clinic, and Seattle Children’s South Clinic in Federal Way. There are no changes to specimen collection or drop-off procedures.

Labs now available for onsite analysis at the North Clinic laboratory:

Analyte
Albumin Calcium Potassium
Alkaline phosphatase Cholesterol Lactate
Alanine transferase (ALT) Creatine Kinase (CK) Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH)
Ammonia Chloride Lipase
