Biography

Dr. Varun Jhaveri was born and raised in Seattle. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington where he majored in Mathematics, then went on to medical school in Chicago and Pediatrics residency in Los Angeles. Upon moving back to the northwest, he has practiced Pediatrics in the greater Seattle area with nearly 14 years spent in Public Health/FQHC settings in addition to serving on the Clinical Faculty at the UW School of Medicine. Being able to join Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic is an absolute honor, as he has held Seattle Children’s in such high esteem ever since his days as a teenage volunteer at the hospital.

Outside of his career, Dr. Jhaveri loves spending time with family and especially his son - from skiing and travelling to going to concerts and playing music together. Dr. Jhaveri has also performed in clubs all over Seattle with his band where he is the guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. Additionally, Dr. Jhaveri speaks French and - once upon a time - was a waiter in Paris.
