  • Biography

    Terrance Chambers Jr is an LMHC who enjoys working with families and youth. Terrance specializes in helping our youth and families overcome challenges of anxiety, performance, transitions, ADHD, trauma, and depression that impact their lives in many aspects. Terrance has a love for sports and playing video games that he enjoys bringing into therapy to make it more enjoyable and to build a strong therapeutic relationship. Terrance was a former athlete who learned how important movement is to our health overall so any way he can engage in movement in session, he goes for it.

    Terrance has a background in school-based mental health services and can provide youth and families with the tools necessary to be successful not only in school but outside of school. Taking a collaborative approach to care by considering all systems involved with the families and youth to ensure their best interest is the at the forefront of our services provided. Terrance typically utilizes interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and strength-based approaches. His humor and calming presence helps creative a comfortable and safe space for clients to build a strong therapeutic relationship throughout the course of treatment. Terrance became a therapist because he didn’t have many adult figures outside of his family who looked like him and that he could connect with and discuss his experiences with.
