"I feel extremely fortunate to be involved in the lives of my pediatric, adolescent and young adult patients that I treat at Seattle Children’s. As a parent of young children, I strive every day to provide the same individualized and compassionate care to my patients and their families that I would want for my own children. Whether it is treating a newborn infant with cleft lip and palate, or older patients with facial differences, my goal is always to ensure that the patient and family needs come first as we develop a shared care plan and approach to surgery. Being in the service of others is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job as a craniofacial and plastic surgeon and continually inspires me to strive for the best outcomes for each of my patients."
