Biography
Dr. Brent R. Collett studies neurodevelopment in young children and parent-focused interventions to promote healthy development in the U.S. and globally. His work includes longitudinal cohort studies tracking development in special populations and in association with environmental exposures. Currently, he is leading the Book Sharing for Toddlers with Cleft Palate (BOOST; NCT06338319), a randomized trial testing an intervention to promote language development. Dr. Collett and his team are particularly interested in novel strategies to extend evidence-based developmental assessments and treatments to under-served populations.
