Seattle Children’s Earns Tree Campus Healthcare Recognition

Seattle Children’s has been recognized for the second consecutive year by Tree Campus Healthcare, an Arbor Day Foundation program that recognizes health institutions that make a community impact through tree planting, education and community engagement.

The distinction was awarded after Seattle Children’s developed a tree care plan, participated in a community forestry project, sponsored public awareness outreach and committed to financial investment in tree projects.

At Seattle Children’s, we know trees have proven health benefits and we’re proud to join healthcare facilities across the country who are leading the way to advance human health and wellness through participation in this program.

We are deeply grateful for the work done by our Grounds Maintenance team to manage our campus landscape and oversee this project.
