Upcoming Paving and Striping Projects at Hospital Campus

Seattle Children's is planning two paving and striping projects at the hospital campus in July. Here are details of each.

Lot 4 paving and striping — July 18 to 19 and July 23 to 24, 2022

Lot 4 is located on the north side of the hospital campus and is used for workforce parking. The paving will take place on Monday, July 18, and Tuesday, July 19., 2022. Neighbors may hear some noise from grinding and saw cutting of existing asphalt on these dates between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Placement of new asphalt will generate odors.

Lot 4 will be striped with new paint on Saturday, July 23, and Sunday, July 24, 2022, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Neighbors may smell odors during the striping process, but they are expected to be mild.

Penny Drive paving and striping — July 22 and 25, 2022

On Friday, July 22, and Monday, July 25, crews will repave and restripe portions of Penny Drive at the hospital campus. Neighbors may hear some noise from grinding and saw cutting of existing asphalt on these dates between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Placement of new asphalt will generate odors. Striping will occur on these days as well. Neighbors may smell odors during the striping process, but they are expected to be mild.

Both projects are weather-dependent and are subject to change based on conditions.
