Recommendations

JeanneMilton, WA03.31.11
I can recommend Dr. Pihoker without reservation for any patient who needs to see an endocrine or diabetes specialist. She works with families and children in a supportive way which allows the child to gradually take on appropriate self-care, and encourages families to learn about their child's condition to help make decisions about long term treatment plans (or tweeks of plans as new needs come up). Although Dr. Pihoker doesn't waste appointment time on chit-chat, we feel she shows genuine concern and interest in our son as her patient, and has become a partner in his care. Our son has been her patient for about 12 of his 14 years of diabetes care at Children's and we are truly thankful for her guidance over the years.
