Dr.Hamiwka is an amazing provider. She has gone the extended mile to help my little boy and track down what is happening with his little brain and body. My son was not receiving the proper care he needed and we were heading on the wrong path prior to meeting her. She truly has put her all into my son. We come from the other side of the state just to obtain decent care for him. She has always been acommodating to get us seen by her at last moments notice when we come for other appointments or if he needs to be seen urgently. She also contacts us directly to find out what the issues are that my child is having when I need to schedule to have him seen. She follows up by phone with us so we don't have to drive all the way back for unnessesary appointments and is very quick to respond to mesgs. She knows how to remain calm when a child has behavioral problems and get down to the child's level of understanding. Some doctors cant be bothered with putting in extra work or time and can not remain from becoming frustrated when a child doesnt sit still and quiet but Dr.Hamiwka is the opposite of this. She presses hard to make happen what the patient needs and doesnt take no for an answer. She is that Doctor you see on tv and think to your self how nice would it be if there was actually a physician who tried that hard. Dr.Hamiwka has put so much time into my child and I am so so thankful. Being on the pre med track myself I have gained even more passion for my future career and inspiration as to the type of Doctor I hope I will become and I owe that inspiration to her.
