Jordan M. Symons, MD

He received his MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed a pediatric residency at Children’s Memorial in Chicago and completed his fellowship in pediatric nephrology at Children’s Hospital in Boston, MA. As a faculty member, Dr. Symons’ area of clinical interest is in renal replacement therapies and acute kidney injury. Next year he will be participating in outreach clinics in Montana. He has served as the center PI for the Prospective Pediatric Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) Registry, a multi-center registry investigating methods to improve the delivery of CRRT to children in the critical care setting. Dr. Symons’ other major area of academic interest is in medical education. He coordinates the didactic educational curriculum for nephrology trainees, residents and medical students. Dr. Symons is a member of the Faculty of the University of Washington School of Medicine College System, an integrated program of clinical and professional training for medical students.
