Genetics of Epilepsy: Bedside to Bench and Back (Sarkowsky Neurology Lecture)

Objectives and Disclosures

Participants will be able to:

  1. Evaluate a child with unexplained epilepsy using clinical genetic testing, and to incorporate researchers into the analysis of genetic sequencing data.
  2. Interpret data from animal models of epilepsy as regards pathogenicity of new genes.
  3. Integrate emerging data from research into the evaluation of reinterpretations of genetic sequencing results.
