Shuttles at Seattle Children’s

Guest Services shuttle

Children’s provides a free van service to and from the hospital main campus or the Bellevue Clinic and Surgery Center for patients and families traveling through Seattle’s:

  • Sea-Tac Airport
  • Amtrak train station
  • Ferry terminals
  • Greyhound bus station

The van is wheelchair accessible.

Ronald McDonald House shuttle

Provides transportation between Children’s main campus and the Ronald McDonald House.

Call: 206-987-2030 at least 30 minutes before you need a ride.

Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) shuttle

Provides transportation between Children’s main campus, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and University of Washington Medical Center. Shuttle leaves every hour from the Ocean 8 entrance.

Other Shuttles

While being treated at Children’s, adults and children over 40 pounds may ride employee shuttles to and from the University District, downtown and the hospital main campus.

Car and booster seats

Washington State law now requires children to ride in a car seat or booster seat until they are 8 years old or are at least 4 feet, 9 inches tall. See the booster seat flyer (PDF) for more information.

Medicaid transportation

Medicaid-approved families may qualify for taxi rides, bus tickets, or gas vouchers. Call your Medicaid transportation broker 2–5 days before your visit.
