Shuttles at Seattle Children’s
Children’s Airport, Bus and Train Shuttle
Children’s provides a free van service to and from the hospital for patients and families traveling through Sea-Tac Airport, the Amtrak train station (King Street Station), the Greyhound bus station or the ferry terminal in downtown Seattle. Families can schedule pick-ups or drop-offs by calling 206-987-RIDE (7433) or sending an email to Guest Services. Please try to contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Car seats and a wheelchair-accessible van are available upon request.
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) Shuttle
The SCCA Shuttle provides free transportation for patients, families and staff between Children’s, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the University of Washington Medical Center. It leaves every 40 minutes from the Ocean 8 entrance. The first one is at 7:35 a.m., and the last one is at 6:55 p.m. Schedules are available at the entrance coordinator desks at hospital entrances. Ronald McDonald House Shuttle
Transportation between Children’s and Ronald McDonald House is available upon request by calling 206-987-2030. Please try to call 30 minutes before you need a ride.

Free air transportation
For information about organizations that provide free air transportation to patients with financial need, please call Children’s Social Work Intake Office at 206-987-2760.
A community program called Angel Flight also offers free air transportation to patients who meet certain criteria. Please visit the Angel Flight website or call 888-426-2643 for more information.
Corporate Angel Network arranges free travel for cancer patients to treatment in the unused seats of corporate aircraft flying on routine business. Please visit the Corporate Angel Network website or call 866-328-1313 for more information.
Car and booster seat information
Washington State law now requires children to ride in a car seat or booster seat until they are 8 years old or are at least 4 feet, 9 inches. See the booster seat flyer (PDF) for more information.
