My daughter had knee surgery as an outpatient at Seattle Children's Hospital. I never met Dr. Anderson, but he was the anesthesiologist assigned to check in with us via phone about how the medications were working for my daughter's pain management. It was pretty rough going for the first day and a half as far as her pain went, but Dr. Anderson helped us all through a stressful time with adjusting her medication intervals, explaining what was going on and what to expect, and his obvious great empathy and a dose of humor as well. I have a lot of respect for Dr. Anderson's knowledge, abilities, and willingness to collaborate.

    • Dwight Tacoma, WA 03.23.16

Dr Anderson should be in the Anesthesiology Hall of Fame! His rare combination of intellect and compassion coupled with his easy-going, calming bedside manner clearly put my son at ease. His knowledge of baseball and the Red Sox in particular ( my son's favorite team) made a lasting impression on the entire family, my son most importantly. Dr Anderson will never be forgotten. He is the real deal, a genuine gem !

    • Maritza Seattle, WA 09.15.13

Dr. Anderson was the anesthesiologist for my young daughter when she had an endoscopy this past August. He was OUTSTANDING. He was so kind to her and had such a great disposition that she remained calm during the entire process. I am so grateful to Dr. Anderson and highly recommend him!

    • Jonathan Federal Way, WA 10.18.11

I was delighted that Dr. Anderson managed my son's anesthesia during a brief procedure this morning. His kind and calming demeanor, charm, and sense of humor put us all ease!

    • Tanya Richland, WA 03.15.11

Dr. Anderson is one of the most amazing doctors we dealt with during our son Aidan's 2 1/2 year battle with DIPG. He was always so positive and upbeat with Aidan. So much so that Aidan would often request to see Dr. A. He managed to give Aidan and the rest of us such hope and peace during such a difficult time. We can never thank him enough. Dr. A will always be one of Aidan's Angels.
