  • Biography

    Dr. Jay Alexander is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at Seattle Children's Hospital. He has over 10 years of experience in the evaluation and care of children with neurological disorders.

    Dr. Alexander is a native of Missouri. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He received training in general pediatrics in New Jersey and then received Child Neurology training at The Children's Hospital-Boston. Prior to his recruitment to Seattle Children's, Dr. Alexander held faculty positions at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri and two academic institutions in New Jersey. He practices general child neurology in Seattle, Everett and Olympia. He also conducts outreach clinics in Wenatchee. His clinical role also includes the supervision and education of pediatric resident physicians.
