  • Biography

    Dr. Alvarez is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist at Seattle Children's Hospital, and is the primary attending neuropsychologist on the Seattle Children's Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. She works with children, adolescents, and young adults recovering from a wide range of acquired and traumatic brain injuries. 

     

    Prior to beginning her career at Seattle Children's, Dr. Alvarez obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University in Oregon. She completed a year-long internship in pediatric psychology and neuropsychology at the Kennedy Krieger Institute / Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a two-year fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta / Emory University School of Medicine. She then returned to the Pacific Northwest and joined Seattle Children's in 2019. In her free time, Dr. Alvarez enjoys road-tripping and exploring the outdoors with her family.
