What is the goal of this study?

The purpose of this study is to determine if children with early onset scoliosis experience a change in lung function based on body position.

Who can join the study?

You may take part in the registry if your child:

  • Was born with an upper limb difference
  • Is less than 18 years old

What will happen if my child takes part in this study?

Your child would have some lung function tests performed in both the lying and upright position. These tests would be performed in one 90-minute visit at Seattle Children's Hospital.
