What is the goal of this study?

We are conducting a study to understand how adolescents can feel involved in decisions about their health. We are looking for adolescents (11-17 years) and their parents to participate in different parts of this study – being interviewed about your experiences and what needs to happen for adolescents to feel involved in health decisions, helping to develop and giving feedback on questions we develop to measure parent and adolescent involvement in health decisions, and participating in other activities to learn how you think about this topic.

Who can join the study?

Adolescents (aged 11-17 years) and their parents are eligible to participate in study activities.

What will happen if my child takes part in this study?

You will be asked to participate in an interview or focus group and/or complete an activity to learn how you think about involvement in health decisions.

If you fit the qualifications above and are interested in participating, please fill out the following contact form. We will get back to you if you are a good fit for this study. All study participants will be compensated and all participation is voluntary.
