Concussion – Collaborative Care Model for Treatment of Persistent Symptoms After Concussion Among Youth (Collaborative Care Study)
What is the goal of this study?
We want to find ways to improve care for youth with continued symptoms after a concussion.
Who can join the study?
This study might be a good fit for you and your child if:
- Your child is between 11 to 18 years old.
- Your child has had a sports-related concussion and is still having symptoms 4 weeks or more after injury.
What will happen if my child takes part in this study?
If you and your child decide to take part in the study, you would:
- Complete four study assessments over 12 months
- Be randomly assigned to continue with your current treatment (“usual care”) OR receive a study treatment (usual care plus “collaborative care”)
