What is the goal of this study?

This phase 1 trial studies the side effects and best dose of adavosertib when given together with local radiation therapy in treating children with newly diagnosed diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas (DIPG). 

Who can join the study?

This study might be a good fit for children and young adults who:

  • Are between 37 month and 21 years old
  • Have been newly diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas (DIPG)
