What is the goal of this study?

This study looks at how high-dose combination chemotherapy and stem cell transplant compares with standard-dose combination chemotherapy to treat patients with refractory or recurrent germ cell tumors.

Who can join the study?

This study may be a good fit for children and young adults who:

  • are male,
  • 14 years of age or older, and
  • have progressive or recurrent germ cell tumors.
