Dr. Summers! Where can I start!? This lady is truly and honestly the best doctor my son has had at Seattle Childrens. I was so uncomfortable going into this cancer stuff with my son and when I met Dr. Summers, she is who made me have hope, and feel at home and from there on I was able to put all my trust into Childrens! I am a very nervous wreck when it comes to my sons cancer and have alot of questions 95% of the time! She is SUPER patient, you can ask her the same question 10x and she will explain whatever it is to you until you understand. If its in clinic of over zoom, she will spend whatever time it is with you. There is a lot of doctors that I feel just see your child as its their job, but I truly feel that Dr. Summers and Whitney Thomas truly care for my son. If I have any questions, they have even gone out of there way to call me from home!! They are super upfront, honest with me and reassure me that he is in the best hands and Seattle Childrens and I agree 100%. I am super thankful that I have them to caring for my son! Thank you so much for everything! - Dawn & Elijah
