  • Chris’s Tennis Stringing

This is a fundraiser in which $20 (80%) from each racquet strung will be donated to Seattle Children’s Hospital. Additionally, 100% of donations (even without service) will be donated to the hospital.

More specifically, this is a fundraiser for uncompensated care at Seattle Children’s. In other words, the money donated will be used to provide health services and treatment for those without insurance or those who can not fully afford the cost of care.

    Racquet stringing information

If you have a racquet laying around, this is a great way to get it newly strung. At the same time, you are increasing children’s access to healthcare!

In tennis, there are a variety of strings that are used by different players. For example, a durable string made from polyester would allow players to have control of the ball, but they would have to sacrifice power. On the other hand, natural gut strings, although more expensive, have a lot more power. Contact me to find the best string for you.

    About the stringer

I am a junior at Ingraham High School and I have been on their varsity tennis team since freshman year. During my first year, I picked up stringing racquets and ever since I have been stringing racquets for not only my friends but myself as well.

Sigillo Cellars - 2020 Awesome

From December 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, Sigillo Cellars are releasing their second vintage of Awesome in honor of a very special little girl who was a part of the Sigillo Cellars family. She passed away from childhood cancer in August of 2020.

As part of this special release, Sigillo Cellars are donating 10% of each bottle purchase back to Seattle Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders to help other children and families going through childhood cancer.

The wine was made in her memory and named “Awesome” because to Colette, no matter what she was going through, anytime someone asked her how she was doing, her response was always “Awesome”! She was a happy, strong, outgoing little girl and loved being at the winery. Awesome is available for purchase through Sigillo Cellar's website.
