  • Dr. Sarita Joshi enjoys caring for and serving children undergoing apheresis procedures and those with medically complex hematological conditions such as genetic disorders associated with neutropenia or cytopenia as well as bone marrow failure. She seeks to partner with her patients, her medical team and the parents of her patients in providing quality, holistic care and being an integral part on their journey to cure and good health.

    Dr. Sarita Joshi is an outstanding clinician, educator and an Attending Physician at Seattle Childrens Hospital in Hematology-Oncology and in Transfusion Medicine. She is American Board of Pediatrics certified in Primary Care Pediatrics and in the subspecialty of Pediatric Hematology - Oncology. She is also certified by the American Board of Pathology (Clinical Pathology) in Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine. She is the Medical Director of Apheresis and also Attending faculty in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine at Seattle Childrens Hospital. 

    Dr. Joshi is Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington College of Medicine. She has been invited to present at national and international meetings on a variety of topics ranging from blood disorders as well as apheresis. 

    When she isnt working, Dr. Joshi loves to cook, read, sew and hike.
