Rachel Mundy Ghosh, ARNP

Gastroenterology, Motility

On staff since September 2015

"Treating a patient's immediate medical problem has never been enough for me. I want to make a difference in their life now, but also in the long run. Although I specialize in gastrointestinal problems, I look beyond a single bodily system and see each patient as a whole person with a spectrum of healthcare needs. I love helping children and families learn about good nutrition and active living because I know good lifestyle choices are as important to their future well-being as any treatment I provide. My goal is to make our world a little bit better one healthy family at a time."

  • Rachel Ghosh started as an RN at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center in St Louis, MO. She worked on a Medical-Surgical unit as well as in the PICU. She knew she wanted to be a Nurse Practitioner, so she worked full time and went to her graduate program concurrently. She started practicing as a PNP (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) in Primary Care in Austin, Texas. She was in Primary Care and also ran a Concussion Clinic for four years before deciding to pursue her interest in Gastroenterology. She loves working with patients and families in Gastroenterology, as she feels the gut connects all of the body systems and that her Primary Care knowledge is put to use daily. She is very happy to be in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her loving husband and 2 fluffy, orange cats.

Our son has complex medical needs and Dr.Ghosh takes the time to really think through medical decisions. She takes a holistic approach, is highly intelligent and well informed. She answers questions respectfully and with research and information to back up her thinking. We greatly appreciate how she is able to analyze information to make practical decisions. She uses nutrition as part of treatment and does not overly prescribe medications. She is truly a gem in the healthcare field. Highly recommend her!

Rachel is the kindest most genuine person you will ever meet. She really listens and cares. She's is incredibly smart and what she doesn't know she has no problem searching and asking for an answer. The way she talks to my 10 year old is amazing, she is patient and answers his questions no matter how silly they may be. She is so good about following up and answering calls and messages. Children's Seattle is lucky to have someone so knowledgeable and good with kids. She has literally changed our lives, if you a lucky enough to have her as a provider you will agree
