Mandy J Breedt, ARNP

"I know when a patient meets our team it is often one of the scariest moments in their lives. I'm continually amazed by how families allow you to be a part of this intimate time; allowing you to care and support them every step of the way. I find it a privilege to share this journey with families."

This recommendation is long overdue. My husband and I first met Mandy back in September 2010 when our tiny little son was born, had a brain hemorrhage, and developed hydrocephalus. Long story short -- we dealt with Mandy and the rest of the neurosurgery department frequently for over a year. I have good things to say about everyone, but Mandy especially was always friendly and warm and a joy to talk with. When we moved it was difficult for us to leave a neurosurgery team we knew so well. After we'd been gone about a year I called with a question and left a message on the nurses line. Mandy called right back and was helpful as usual. It was good to hear her voice again. Before we got into a conversation about my question she asked, with genuine concern, how our son was doing. Mandy and the rest of the Seattle neurosurgery department will forever be special to us.

I met Mandy last year around Christmas time at my annual doctors appointment, and i was really happy with meeting her. I was really nervous when she brought in MRI photos and after consulting with doctors, she told me and my Mom that i couldnt go home that day due to that i was to go in for emergency brain surgery. I just wanted to take the time to thank her for the time she took explain the procedures to me and my Mom, and answer all the questions that were running a mile a minute in my head. Thank You Mandy!!
